I had heard of Reiki here and there, during my travels and meeting like minded people. However, I had never really got into it, or felt called to do  this, until one day during a housesitting experience, in Portugal.  I had went outside to go to the toilet. After which, I spent a little time out  in the fresh air amongst the tree’s.  

Until suddenly, I felt the presence of Jesus with me. Even though, I am not  usually a clairvoyant, I also saw an image of Jesus in my third eye.  He communicated with me telepathically, and I suddenly got the feeling  that Reiki is something I should be doing.  

After some time, I managed to organise and find a woman who was  teaching Reiki in Portugal.  

After learning Reiki level one, I didn’t really get into putting it into  practice because my head wasn’t really in the right place, at that time.  However, some time later, when I was volunteering for an alternative  doctor, we exchanged a healing for each other. After giving the  alternative doctor a Reiki healing, he told me “If you don’t do Reiki  healing, it will be a crime”.  

To which, I also found out that I have actually been a hands on healer  throughout many of my lifetimes.  After, discovering this about myself, and feeling a deep call within me to  pursue the path of being a Reiki healer. I decided to complete Reiki level  two & three. However, yet again, this was also after some time.  To conclude, this is how I got into being a Reiki Healer.
